Johns Hopkins University Student Government Says No to Campus Chick-fil-A

The non-binding measure adopted by the Student Government Association cites comments the chain’s CEO Dan Cathy has made opposing same-sex marriage.

The resolution said that allowing Chick-fil-A to open on campus would be a “microaggression” against members of the LGBT community, Washington’s WTOP-FM reported Friday.

  1. The drivel these 'higher' institutions of learning are forcing in to their students is amazing!

  3. 8:02 - you are very correct! Now, interview and experience are the portions of job hiring that show the candidates fit for the job at hand.

You can actually get good candidates from DeVry, Strayer, and Phoenix...just like you can get idiots from JHU, UMd, and Harvard! The difficult part is determining if they should have attended college in the first place - then reviewing their choices when they got there.

I would much rather hire someone from a 'lesser' named college that went at night while getting similar experience at the day job - they are more motivated, experienced, and show the ability to learn!

  4. And just like the "representative" democracy of These United States I doubt the future fascists of Amerika bothered to find out what the other students actually wanted.

The movie PCU was supposed to be satire not a prediction.

  5. So now, we aren't allowed to eat at certain places unless the gay cross dressers approve of our choices?
    Keep cheering.
