UPDATE:The dove as been claimed! Thank you so much for making these kind of connections possible. It walks right up to us and has walked into our garage. It must belong to someone to seem so tame...or an Easter blessing....never seen one so pure white in the wild.
People are buying white doves for release at events usually a wedding or a funeral. This is most likely where this dove originated from. I would say though for the dove to arrive to you on this most Holy of weekends is surely is a Blessing.
I've seen white doves lose their bearings & forget the way home,but rarely.They are almost the equivalent of homing pidgeons when it comes to navigation.
