Joe: WICO is currently running a story about the rehab of the Washington Hotel in P.A. and how it will benefit from recent grants, etc. Garland Haywood is quoted in the article as stating that the hotel has a history of not allowing blacks inside and they hope this reconstruct will improve it's reputation.

ReplyDeleteLooking at it,this building really speaks of the Times back then. The way it was built and its character are really amazing to see.I would invite anyone willing to comment here to just sit across the street from it and imagine the thing in full operation. It's really a cool thing to do.
