Hello Joe... I just wanted to share with you these pictures. These are only half showing the hazardous conditions in the Milford Street Professional Center parking lot. It has been like this for at least two weeks. There used to be cones marking these areas, but the UPS truck, medical transport vans, and Shore Transit would run over them because there is no way to maneuver around them. You can barely get through this complex with a regular car anyhow by the way the parking was designed to begin with. The first picture shows there are chunks of loose pavement the whole way down the side of this particular building and right in front of the slope to step on to the sidewalk and for wheelchair accessibility. As you can see in the second photo the thrash truck has not picked up the trash out of this dumpster for two weeks because of the barrels are blocking accessibility of the truck getting by. Thank you Sperry Van Ness for being so efficient in getting this repaired quickly. Having patients come in multiple times a week for therapy and being questioned as to who is responsible for getting it done has become tiring. Whoever they have hired to do the job though hasn't had a problem parking their equipment taking up several parking spaces for a week and a half. When it rained a couple of days ago it covered these areas and you could not tell just how deep these areas where. It can do a lot of damage to your car. I am sure the Miller's would not want to drive their nice vehicles through this mess daily! Not to mention some people have to be transported to their wheelchairs to go back and fourth from there doctors office to their car. This whole complex was suppose to be repaved three years ago. But I guess we are just getting patched, and we all know how long that lasts. This complex is so neglected.

What do you expect? Its all about the $$ and all that is is an expense.
ReplyDeleteThe roads and parking lots are crappy everywhere now. There's no way it will ever all get fixed. There will be just a patch here and there. (which doesn't help the bumpiness)
ReplyDeleteThe University will own that entire property one day in the future...watch and see.
ReplyDeleteI was thee last week and it was a genuine clusterf*ck
ReplyDeleteBecause we allow Congress to give billions away, like the 40 billion they are giving Iran for the Nuclear Agreement.
ReplyDeletethis stuff is every where... it is even over by wawa and chick-fla... Heck even all of 13 south is pretty much rubble at this point... Maybe you all should use bricks like in the old days since it is faster and cheaper... and can be replaced easier...
ReplyDeleteBetter yet, lets go back to dirt roads...
