Somerset County Sheriff's Office Press Release 3-23-15

Shawn David Sturgis of Mt. Vernon, criminal summons served 2-23-15  for theft over $1,000. Sturgis was released on signature pending court actions. The arrest was the result of a theft of metal complaint from a property in Mt. Vernon.  

Michael Jerome Aye of Princess Anne, arrested 3-4-15 on a warrants for failing to appear in court. Aye was held on a $750.00 bond.

Maurice McKinley Turner of Princess Anne, arrested 3-4-15 on warrants for failing to appear in court. Turner was held on a $1,000 bond.

Kevin Stuart Moore of Salisbury, arrested 3-9-15 on a warrant for failing to appear in court. Moore was held on a $500.00 bond.

John Michael Dawson Jr. of Laurel Delaware, arrested 3-9-15 on a warrant for violation of probation. Dawson was held without bond.

Susan Lynn Bowie of Eden, arrested 3-10-15 on a warrant for failing to appear in court. Bowie was held on a $500.00 bond.

Carla Janette Roberts Richardson of Westover, arrested 3-14-15 on a warrant for trespassing. Richardson was held on a $3,000 bond.

Teneka T. Burns of Capital Heights, arrested 3-17-15 on a warrant for failing to appear in court. Burns was held on a $250.00 bond.

Carla Ann Renee Ruf of Princess Anne, arrested 3-17-15 on a warrant for violation of probation. Ruf was held without bond.

Juvenile arrested at Tawes Campus Vo-Tech on 3-18-15 for possessing suspected marijuana . Deputies were called to the Vo-tech school regarding a male student possessing suspected marijuana, and two smoking devices. The juvenile was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The juvenile was later released to parents pending juvenile court actions.

Danzell John Gregory of Crisfield, arrested 3-18-15 on a warrant for violation of probation. Gregory was held without bond.

Juvenile arrested after assaulting bus driver on 3-19-15. The male juvenile was charged with 2nddegree assault, disorderly conduct, and disturbing school functions. Deputies were called to the Washington High School for an assault complaint. Deputies learned that a male student became combative with a bus driver during an altercation on the school bus. The juvenile was later released to family members pending juvenile court.

  1. Nobody in Somerset ever goes to court, it seems! Is this the only crime Bobby goes after?
