The man charged with convincing lawmakers to approve Governor Larry Hogan's legislative agenda says the governor has yet to decide if he will agree to changes lawmakers have made in his budget.
Legislative and Policy Director Joe Getty told Maryland's News This Week that the governor is pleased with the progress that lawmakers made on the budget.
The Senate on Thursday unanimously approved a budget that restores pay raises for state workers and extra education funding for large school districts that Governor Hogan had wanted to scale back. The House had previously approved a similar budget.
