DSP S.O.A.R. Searching for Wanted Sex Offender

Georgetown, DE - The Delaware State Police Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit (S.O.A.R) is currently looking for a wanted homeless sex offender after he failed to re-register his current address.

Investigators have obtained warrants for Carl Jones, who is a high risk Tier 3 sex offender and may be living in the Georgetown area.

Jones is a black male, 5'07” tall, 150 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He is wanted for two counts of Failure to Re-Register.

The Delaware State Police Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit is asking anyone who may know the location of Jones to call 302-672-5306. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, via the internet atwww.tipsubmit.com, or by sending an anonymous tip by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword "DSP."

  1. Why is a high risk sex offender not behind bars? Next time when he kills his victim so as not to have a witness left behind to testify, our dopey politicians will feign outrage especially if the victim is a child.
    The handwriting is on the wall with this misfit same as it was with Leggs and Burton.

  2. Because high risk sex offenders are not a high enough priority to justify a lengthy incarceration.If you don't believe that just check the registry.They live all around and among us.

  4. Yes it does seem that Delaware can't keep track of it's Sex Offenders. They must be too stupid to attach GPS ankle bracelets to them.

  6. This is the man that killed himself in Salisbury on Valentine's Day.. The cop's should already know this.. I feel sorry for his family to still have to go through this weeks after his funeral, so sad.
