"Dan Satterfield From WBOC Said This Would Happen"
If you've watched the new series of commercials for WBOC's Weatherman Dan Satterfield, well, we thought we'd be more TRUTHFUL about it. Wouldn't you agree?
The term "polar express" is often used to describe the cold air barreling down into the U.S. due to a blocking high pressure system over easter Alaska and northwest Canada. Pesonally, Dan's the only forecaster around here I enjoy watching. Also, he's the only one w/ the guts to call a guestimate on the inches of precipitation.
The best forecast I have seen on WBOC was one night on the 11:00 pm news when tha announcer and onthe the screen the evening forecast was for it to be...this is no lie..."partly sunny this evening"! I was done with them after seeing and hearing that !!
Over the years, I have been able to predict the weather by the amount of pain and aches I have before I go to bed and when I wake up. My average is pretty good!
Who is he and what channel is it on?

ReplyDeleteThose commercials are stupid. Dan Satterfield should be called Dan SCATTERFIELD. Last winter he called the polar vortex the polar express.

You said it. Guestamates! If I wanted to guess I'd buy a farmers almanac And still get better forecasts! I refuse to watch wboc for him alone.
DeleteIdiot. The polar express is also a weather phenomenon. His meteorological credentials are impeccable.

ReplyDeleteDan also said this post would get at least 25 comments by 10PM.We'll see how accurate he is with that prediction.
