Compliance check results for 3-19-15

On March 19, 2015 The Wicomico County Alcohol Task Force conducted a routine compliance check named “Operation Spot Check”.

The Task Force is comprised of the Wicomico County Liquor License Department, the Maryland State Police, the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, Salisbury Police Department, the Fruitland Police Department and the Wicomico County States Attorney’s Office.

Thirty four licensed establishments were checked and two failed for a 95 % pass rate.

The following establishments passed.

  3. Buffalo Wild Wings, 2734 N Salisbury Blvd.
  4. Evolution Craft Brewing Co. & Public House, 200 Elm St.
  5. Specific Gravity, 105 E College Ave.
  6. The Greene Turtle, 2618 N Salisbury Blvd.
  7. Mojo’s 213 E Main St.
  8. Hunan Palace, 1600 S Salisbury Blvd.
  9. Thirsty’s South, 1053 S Salisbury Blvd.
  10. Olive Garden Italian Restaurant, 2316 N Salisbury Blvd.
  11. Outback Steakhouse, 8245 Dickerson La.
  12. Denny’s, 100 E Cedar La.
  13. Ruby Tuesday’s, 2300 N Salisbury Blvd.
  14. Plaza Tapitia, 2715 N Salisbury Blvd.
  15. Applebee’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill, 703 N Salisbury Blvd.
  16. Chili’s Grill & Bar, 2750 N Salisbury Blvd.
  17. Eastmoon Japanese Steakhouse, 800 S Salisbury Blvd.
  18. 2J’s BBQ & Seafood, 28510 Ocean Gateway.
  19. Fratellis 925 Snow Hill Rd.
  20. Ginger House, 321 Civic Ave.
  21. Pemberton Coffee House, 1100 Pemberton Dr.
  22. Echelon, 100 N Division St.
  23. Angello’s Gifts, 113 W Main St.
  24. Adam’s Tap House Grill, 219 N Fruitland Blvd.
  25. Lucky Star, 208 N Fruitland Blvd.
  26. Longhorn Steakhouse, 2312 N Salisbury Blvd.
  27. Old West Steakhouse, 810 Beaglin Park Dr.
  28. Texas Roadhouse, 107 E Cedar La.
  29. Brickroom 116 N Division St.
  30. Thristy’s South, 1053 S Salisbury Blvd.
  31. Parsonsburg Quick Stop, 7181 Parsonsburg Rd.
  32. Roadie Joe’s Bar & Grill, 213 W Main St.


The following establishment’s failed.
  1. Red Lobster, 2314 N Salisbury Blvd.
  2. Plaza Tapatia, 1045 S Salisbury Blvd.
Licensee’s for the establishment who failed will be summoned before the Board of License commissioners for a Show Cause hearing whereupon a fine or a suspension or both may be levied against their license. The clerk’s who sold the alcohol to the Cadet’s will be charged by the officers of the Task Force.

  6. This is a fund raiser. Also, those people who choose to hate Hispanics. Just because you were caught serving an undercover cop, does not mean you do it ALL THE TIME. The cops go far above what they should be doing. They will come back again and again UNTIL THEY CATCH YOU IF THEY WANT. Fundraiser, fundraiser.

    Please review the proper use of the apostrophe before your next press release. I detect 10 proper uses and 6 improper uses (including one omission) for a pass rate of 62.5%
