IF these people manage to tear down the Bennett School maybe it could be grown up to be used to fill all these POT HOLES in the city.
Sell it to some of these businesses who have very large holes on their parking lots.
Personally I would rather keep the building where it is.
Dump the bricks by liartons house.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea.A local pulverizing firm could reduce the masonry aspects to an ideal size to fill holes (pea size or so)and blacktop could be put over it.On second thought that makes way too much sense so it wouldn't fly locally.
ReplyDeleteObviously you know nothing about blacktop
DeleteTurn it into

Wi-Hi kids should not be attending
ReplyDeleteParkside or Bennett so they can play sports. Kids are being cut at this schools who actually live in the correct district. Why is that fair ?
@ Anonymous March 20, 2015 at 10:59 AM Sure we do old blacktop got laid many times out on the old Salisbury slip & slide.
ReplyDelete@10:59, And obviously neither do you.
ReplyDeleteRecycled asphalt brings an even higher price than recycled concrete/masonry.
You can't use brick to create anything useful for road repair. Once it's broken up, it continues to degrade.
ReplyDeleteWe ate dinner at the Mexican restaurant up north 13. The McDonalds beside it has a large hole on their lot. It was filled with their decorative rocks from their land scaping. Those bricks have lasted over 50 years. Pot holes have to be filled several times a year. Maybe you don't know squat about brick?
