This is not a Rescue. Why would they even call it a Rescue. In Wicomico County a "Rescue" mean patients are trapped in a vehicle. This is not the case. They should call it an MVC for motor vehicle crash. If it requires patient extrication then it should be listed as a Rescue. I comment the "owners" of the FB page but this shows their lack of experience in the profession.
I was under the impression that First Alert only repeated what comes from 911 and are ( ex or presently) firemen and EMTs, who volunteer their time which means they are professionals. But whatever - I give all the guys and gals over at First Alert 2 thumbs up for keeping us informed. In my eyes you are professionals.
Wow - just look at all the pictures of accidents on Wicomico First Alert. From the looks of a lot of the roads I'll continue to stay home until the spring thaw. Pray no serious injuries in any of the accidents
They gave fire alerts for fires, traffic alerts (that include MVCs without injuries), and rescue alerts for MVCs with injuries. Thus the reason a rescue truck or rescue engine responds. They never said anyone was trapped, needed rescue, or was entrapped. Good WFA!
Has it even been 2 weeks since your last post about an accident there?
