It Seems To Me Mayor Jim Ireton Clearly, (in his own words) Knows What WEEKEND Means

Have a great Friday, everyone! Sandy and I are playing ball to get this weekend started!

  2. It seems clear to me, that the Eastern shore whatever it's called, will only post comments if he is in agreement with it. I have tried to comment several times with no bad language, and he will not post it.

  3. Of course he does.....he works in Gov't.....and they change federal holiday dates so that they almost always are either a Friday or Monday so that they get three day WEEKENDS

  5. So "Weekends" begin on Friday yet.."Weekday" work can be conducted any day of the week? I'm curious if the contractors are being paid hourly or if they are working under a time constraint to complete the work in a certain time to receive a bonus! Follow the money of who hired these contractors and what they are up to. Either way I'm glad I don't live on the 1400 block of South Division. It is interesting that the entire area was without power yesterday morning including traffic lights out for several hours. Could this have been a sabotage effort done by the construction crews for receiving negative press and inquiries from the public about the work they are doing at such odd hours and days?

  8. Well, this is just amazing. Here it is only Friday morning and the Mayor is going out of town for the "WEEKEND". So much for him saying Saturdays being included in the "WEEKDAYS". Oh I forgot, his the MAYOR of "Bury".
