ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (AP) — Corrections authorities and the state medical examiner are investigating after an inmate was found dead in his cell at the Jessup Correctional Institution in Howard County.
Thirty-five-year-old Louis Leysath, an inmate who was serving a life sentence for murder, was found Friday morning in a cell filled with steam. Corrections staff performed CPR but were unable to revive the man.
