(January 20, 2015) --- The intersection of US 50 (Ocean Gateway) at Hobbs Road (just east of the Salisbury Bypass) in Salisbury will be temporarily closed to traffic for multiple 15 minute intervals to enable Delmarva Power to install new power lines on a nearby overhead structure. The temporary lane closures will occur on Saturday, January 24, from Midnight to 5 a.m., according to the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA).
No detours will be established during the temporary lane closures. Maryland State Police will be onsite throughout the duration of the 15-minute lane closures at the intersection. The rain date for the removal of the power lines is the following morning, Sunday, January 25, from Midnight to 5 a.m.
