Former Substitute Teacher Sentenced On Child Pornography

A former substitute teacher in Howard County will spend more than 16 years in prison for possession of child pornography.

Jeremy Sykes of Columbia was sentenced Monday.

In October he pleaded guilty to 19 different charges.

He was arrested in January of last year, after investigaztors found he had uploaded the proniographic images on a home computer and a computer at Folly Quarter Middle School, where he worked as a long term substitute teacher.
