Dover PD’s viral ‘Shake It Off’ take-off tops 12 million views
DOVER, DELAWARE (1/18/2015) It started as a simple promotional gimmick for Dover’s police force – an effort to provide a few lighter moments as Master Cpl. Jeff Davis sang along in his patrol car to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.”
But after widespread local and national media coverage, the YouTube video launched Friday has taken on a life of its own — surpassing 12 million viewers just after 8:30 tonight.
It's a put up job. For the first 3 minutes, he is driving around a mostly empty parking lot. At 3 min, he goes onto a road that appears to be an access road of some sort and then turns into another parking lot. Not once in the video does he meet or pass another vehicle that is not parked.
shared...too funny...
