As a side note, my Wife just text me to let me know the road conditions on Rt. 50 from the Hebron area into Salisbury/Fruitland are not good at all. Very slushy, she said. She was only able to do 30 MPH, (at most, on Rt. 50) in my truck.
In addition, the reason we got the above photo is because someone claimed in comments that the SHA had cleared their parking lot.

My god, people!! there is about a quarter of an inch of nothing in this picture. If this much bothers you, MOVE SOUTH!! Get a life!
ReplyDeleteWhen did SHA start clearing parking lots?
ReplyDeleteI just drove in from DE to Salisbury and the roads were terrible. Lots of slush and ice and piles of mixed ice all over the roads. I don't expect perfection but we had a weather heads up....this is sad considering the amount of money the roads dept claims they need each year.
ReplyDelete9:01 AM, are you dense? That's why the picture here is posted, they don't clear parking lots like someone in an earlier post claimed they did.
ReplyDeleteHorrible... No plows just salt....idiots everywhere..... This is not good way for Culver to begin term....disappointed
ReplyDeleteIs that Biff Burns place?
ReplyDeleteCar turned over on Route 90 in Ocean Pines. Be careful the roads are still horrible.
ReplyDeleteI guess now it's Bob Culvers job to plow/salt the roads. That is why we have the roads division. I guess why it snowed is Bobs fault too. Get a life.
ReplyDelete@9:12 are you that stupid or just a liberal democrat, which would make you that stupid. Culver is NOT responsible for any state roads or highways. Better watch it since you believe Culver is responsible for weather, you could get struck in the A$$ with lightning.
ReplyDeleteI heard from co-workers that Delaware started pre-treating their roads yesterday morning. That never happens here. It could've prevented a lot of sliding around.
ReplyDeletegood grief. do you really believe the plows should be out in full force. snow??? where? this is a very, very light dusting and may require a little salt. as far as a driver is concerned, it requires some semblance of common sense. drive slow and watch the other guy dum dums...
ReplyDeleteI would be pissed if the county wasted a bunch of fuel to clear an inch of snow. Some salt on the main roads is plenty. If you can't drive in it, Stay the hell home.
ReplyDelete11:38 - It is stupid to call other people you don't know anything about, stupid. Grow up.
ReplyDeleteThe roads looked good but were icy as hell this morning and not ONE plow or salt truck seen...Even the bypass was dangerous.
