In an act of patriotism this Fourth of July, a pair of business executives has paid the fines for a Florida veteran who faced foreclosure for displaying a small American flag in a flower pot on his front stoop.
The two senior executives for Los Angeles-based Lear Capital had read the story of 73-year-old Larry Murphree, of Jacksonville, whose homeowners association at Tides Condominium at Sweetwater began hitting him with fines of $100 a day last year for violating his homeowners association’s flag display rules, and have offered to pay the bill which has climbed into the thousands.
“When we read his story it offended our sensibilities,” Scott Carter, CEO of Lear Capital said to FoxNews.com. “The thought of him losing his home, we felt it was wrong. We wanted to help.”

Hillary Got Rich on Foreign Money, Says She is Product of “American Dream”
Hillary is a bald eagle. She’s an apple pie on a windowsill. She’s so American that she was named after both Washington and Lincoln.
After all those criticisms about the formerly broke, currently “not truly well off” First Lady, Hillary Clinton got the chance to lay out her vision at the Aspen Festival of Ideas.
“We have to do a better job of getting our economy growing again and producing results and renewing the American Dream so Americans feel they have a stake in the future and that the economy and political system is not stacked against them,’ Clinton said.
What a novel and unique set of ideas that was not at all exactly the same stump speech politicians have been giving since 1974.
Clinton, nodding to her middle class, Midwestern roots, said she is “product” of the American Dream.
“Of course, Bill and I are so grateful for the success we’ve had, but we remember where we started and where we came from and what the contributing factors were that gave us the opportunity to be successful,” she said. “And we don’t want to see that lost.”

BROWN - SKEERED
Hogan reiterates earlier calls for several forums with Brown; Brown-Ulman debate “proposal” ignores Western, Eastern and Southern MD.
Annapolis, MD – Commenting on the Brown-Ulman campaign’s “debate proposal” released late this afternoon before the long Independence Day weekend, the Hogan-Rutherford campaign said:
“To date, we have only received one invitation for a gubernatorial forum, the September 12, Maryland Municipal League event in Annapolis (attached). Larry Hogan accepted the invitation to this forum without qualifications or conditions on the day it was received; as it was not listed in the Brown-Ulman proposal, we will assume the Lt. Governor will not be participating in this important event with local leaders.
“We agree that there should be several debates, but missing from the Brown-Ulmanproposal is any meaningful consideration for the people of Western, Southern and Eastern Maryland. And while will agree to Lt. Governor debates outside of the Washington – Baltimore corridor, we are reiterating our call for town hall style debates with the Lt. Governor and Larry Hogan in Delmarva, south of St. Charles and west of Hagerstown. These areas have been largely ignored by Annapolis and have unemployment rates nearly double that of other regions. The people of these regions deserve to directly question and hear from the two candidates for governor.

An American Fourth of July, made in China
The United States imported $4 million in U.S. flags last year, 97 percent of which came from China. And it's not just flags -- like other consumer goods, the lions' share of our patriotic paraphernalia was made in China. There's a certain irony in celebrating our liberties with goods purchased from one of the least-free nations on the planet. But that's life in the 21st century for you.

15 Things You Don’t Fully Appreciate Until You No Longer Live In Maryland
Growing up, you always dreamed about leaving Maryland. You wondered where you’d go and all the places you’d see; you romanticized the idea of dropping everything and getting away—until you did. Sure, you probably love your new state, but nothing will ever replace good ol’ Maryland in your heart. Raise that bold, patterned flag high and embrace memories of the motherland.
1. Extreme Seasons
Sometimes it’s too hot; sometimes it’s too cold; sometimes it’s both in one week. Once you’ve moved away from these unusual weather patterns, you begin to feel a strange, unexplainable longing to experience them once again.
2. Your Choice of Theme Parks
Whichever direction your GPS takes you, Marylanders have easy access to fun. Six Flags America is in-state, and other great parks are just a short drive. Choose from Hershey Park, Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens, and (best of all) Six Flags Great Adventure. Kingda Ka, you and your outrageous views of the curvature of the Earth are sorely missed. Good luck finding that anywhere else.
3. Rita’s
Okay, maybe this does not come as a surprise, but it deserves a shout out, anyway. Why are you so far, my dear lemon cream pie Blendini?

How the South is becoming a solid band of poverty
The number of Americans living in poor neighborhoods has skyrocketed in the last decade - and nowhere is the trend more prominent than in the South, where more than 30percent of the population is concentrated in an area with high poverty.
A grim new report from the U.S. Census Bureau shows a solid band of high poverty neighborhoods - running from Arizona east to North Carolina. Only Florida and Virginia are spared from the trend.
The data show that poverty in the United States isn't just growing, it's becoming more concentrated - which can exacerbate social problems and lower the chances of social mobility.
The Census report points out that the number of people living under the federal poverty line - less than $24,000 a year for a family of four - has increased between 2000 and 2010. The number of Americans living in poverty climbed 45percent to 45million.

Senator Mikulski Announces $4.6 Million in Federal Funding to Support and Protect Firefighters in Maryland
Funding will provide life-saving equipment for firefighters in Baltimore County and will aid volunteer recruitment and retention efforts in communities throughout Maryland
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Barbara A. Mikulski today joined Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz,Baltimore County Fire Chief John Hohman and state and local first responders at the Rosedale Volunteer Fire Company to announce two federal grants totaling $4.6 million that will address equipment and staffing needs for first responders in Baltimore County and throughout Maryland. As the Chairwoman of the Appropriations Committee, Senator Mikulski fights each year to increase federal funding for the fire grants program.
"I know how important this funding is to Maryland communities – often it's the difference between life and death. First responders protect our homes and communities, and the federal government has a responsibility to protect them by providing them with the tools they need to do their jobs safer and smarter," Senator Mikulski said. "Every day when our first responders report for duty, they don't know what they will face. That's why I fight every year for the equipment, training, and staffing our protectors and communities deserve."

White House Honoree Slams VA, Says Administration's Investigation Barely Scratches the Surface
On Wednesday, Sloan Gibson, the acting secretary of Veterans Affairs, announced he will visit the embattled Phoenix VA to discuss immediate actions taken as a result of recommendations outlined in the recent interim Inspector General (IG) report. But Jim Binns, a veterans advocate who was honored by the Obama administration for his service to veterans, said the administration's investigation of the manipulation of wait times may be successful, but an investigation of any other alleged wrongdoing at VA is unlikely to be effective until bigger changes are made at the top management levels of the agency.
In a scathing letter sent on Tuesday to Gibson, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Rob Nabors, who was handpicked by the president to oversee the government's VA investigation, and other officials, Binns said the investigation cannot be entrusted to VA staff or even the IG.
"The Chief of Staff, the Acting Undersecretary for Health, and the Undersecretary for Benefits are themselves directly implicated," wrote Binns, who chairs the Research Advisory Committee on Gulf War Veterans’ Illnesses, which Congress established in 1998 to advise VA on research to improve Gulf War veterans' health. "Like the Gulf War battlefield," he wrote, "VA is a toxic environment."

Maryland Lottery Joins Multi-State Effort
The Maryland Lottery has joined the Multi-State Lottery Association, a group of lotteries based in Iowa, that will jointly offer new games.
The agreement with the 32 state association would not impact the current Mega Millions or Powerball games which are also multi-state games.
Under this partnership, Maryland Lottery Director Stephen Martino said the first game under this partnership would be a weekly "Monopoly Millionaires" game, that would offer a top prize that would be capped at $25-million.

An Independence Day Message From Delegate Mike McDermott
The Tyrant’s Boot
by Delegate Mike McDermott
For every oppressed people who yearn for freedom, there is always a counting of the cost. Freedom is not free. A “Declaration of Independence” does not secure liberty, but it most certainly will secure the wrath of the tyrant who is deposed. This was certainly the case with King George.
Sadly, most Americans have never read our “Declaration of Independence”. They may know certain lines that are oft repeated, but many confuse our Constitution and the Declaration. In doing so, they miss the essence of our oppression and the need for our rebellion.
Together, the Founders declared certain truths that they held as “self evident” for all people to view and comprehend. They proclaimed as fact that “all men are created equal”. They understood that God is the giver of “rights” to people, and the best any government can do is recognize this truth.
Most of the Founders would pay dearly for making such a declaration. For stating that people were the sovereign of their lives and not the king was an act of treason. Many would die for signing their names to this document. Most lost their lands and saw their families exploited and made homeless. Our liberty cost them all they possessed.
A people can be held together by many things. Most will not last the test of time. There are vows and declarations that are sacred, oaths that we swear by, promises that we endeavor to keep; the American declaration of Independence is one of those God inspired commitments.
You may error in your thinking if you believe the price for freedom has already been paid. It must be paid by each generation of Americans. Our resolve as a people must remain as stalwart as that of the Founders lest a future tyrant catch us slumbering at the wheel of freedom.
It was always said to those who seemed on their way to making it big in this life: “Don’t forget where you came from!” Many a starlet and ball player go on and forget this admonition at their own peril. It was President Reagan who reminded us that, “Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again.”
Today we celebrate our independence. May a tyrants boot never again find it’s place on the neck of any American, and may our people never forget the price of their freedom, so help us God!

City to Build on Downtown Success
Salisbury Enters Into Exclusive Negotiation Period For Redevelopment of Lots 1 & 11
New Jobs, New Residents, New Vitality
In December of 2013, the City of Salisbury issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the development of three downtown parking lots. There were seven clearly stated Development Objectives, focusing on interrelated issues of the economy; fiscal stability; the natural environment; housing; design; and community development. Additionally, there were 5 clearly stated revitalization goals for downtown Salisbury, those being to increase the number of jobs, increase the number of housing units, increase the resident population, increase the amount of commercial square footage, and remove impervious surface area.
Harkins Downtown, LLC, owned by local developer and builder David Harkins, submitted a response to the RFP. In summary, the initial proposal included approximately 200 apartments; 46,000 square feet of retail space; 17,600 square feet of public space; a boutique hotel and restaurant; outdoor amenities; a multi-level parking garage with additional retail; and open space and other project amenities. The project would include both public and private funds.
At the request of Mayor James Ireton, Jr. the Salisbury City Council agreed to allow the administration to enter into an Exclusive Negotiation Period (ENP) with Harkins Downtown, LLC to discuss the project in greater detail. The ENP will begin on July 1, 2014 and last six months. The ENP assures Harkins Downtown, LLC that the City will not sell the property during this time.
“This is incredibly good news for downtown. Expanding our economic base creating new jobs, and making downtown home for many new residents has always been our goal. New customers for our downtown businesses will lead to continued success. As these phases are completed over the next several years, they will be the next chapter in our Downtown Salisbury success story,” said Salisbury Mayor, James Ireton, Jr.

Police Looking For Possible Witnesses In Shooting Death Of Newark Teen
NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – Police in Newark are trying to identify potential witnesses after a high school cheerleader was shot and killed, just two weeks after graduation.
The uncle of 17-year-old Cheyanne Bond says the teen never had a chance.
“They told her to get on her knees and they shot her in the head execution style,” Michael Bond said.
Investigators said teen was walking along West Side Park on South 17th Street in Newark with her ex-boyfriend Sunday night when both teens were shot.
Cheyanne was killed, but her ex-boyfriend survived.

Lt. Governor Anthony Brown's campaign has offered to debate Republican Larry Hogan three times, twice on television, and once on the radio, before the November 4 General Election.
Brown's campaign is proposing holding a televised debate in Washington, sponsored by the Washington Post and WRC-TV (NBC 4 Washington), as well as a televised debate in Baltimore, sponsored by the Baltimore Sun and WJZ-TV. Both of those debates would be televised statewide by Maryland Public Television.

Too Little, Too Late? Democrats Left Scrambling On VA Scandal
As Roll Call points out, the Democrat's problem with the Veterans Affairs' scandal isn't only what it says about the VA, it's what it says about the 'big government' mentality that's so central to many Democrat policies and ideas.
It lso tightens their connection to Obama, at a time when his popularity is in the tank and vulnerable Democrats everywhere are scrambling to avoid him.
... the VA scandal offers a striking example of federal government mismanagement with a Democrat at the helm and provides another link between Democratic incumbents and President Barack Obama.
“Democratic candidates in most of the competitive states already have the millstone of President Obama’s unpopularity around their necks, and the VA scandal is only making that weight heavier,” said GOP pollster Dan Judy.
In the House, Florida Democratic Rep. Joe Garcia, a top GOP target, announced he had held a “closed door meeting” with Paul M. Russo, director of the Miami VA Healthcare System. Rep. Bruce Braley, D-Iowa, who is running for Senate, introduced a bill to provide college-loan repayments for health care providers willing to work in VA facilities — a push covered in June by the Des Moines Register and at least two local television news stations.
Sen. Kay Hagan, D-N.C., who’s been criticized by her GOP opponent, invited acting VA Secretary Sloan D. Gibson to the Fayetteville VA Medical Center — which an internal audit found to have some of the longest wait times. They met again on June 25 on Capitol Hill with other Democratic senators, including Mark Begich of Alaska.

The Wisdom of Divided Government
The president’s executive overreach threatens it.
House speaker John Boehner recently shocked many of us when he announced that he is planning a lawsuit against the president for abuse of power. Many Americans feel that a harmonious working relationship between the branches of government has been seriously compromised in recent years. But when Alexis de Tocqueville visited America in 1831 to perform an in-depth analysis of the American phenomenon, he was impressed with our well-structured divided government and its separation of powers.
The writings of the founders of this nation certainly referenced the Bible frequently, but they also paid homage to the writings of Charles-Louis de Secondat, Baron de Montesquieu, who wrote prolifically about political theories. One of his most well-known works is The Spirit of the Laws. In this book, he eloquently argues for the concept of separation of powers.

Another federal judge tells IRS to explain itself on lost emails
IRS attorneys will be even busier than normal next week, because another federal judge has told them to show up in court July 11 to defend the federal tax agency.
They will have to explain to U.S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton why the IRS shouldn't be required to let an outside expert evaluate whether emails on the computer hard drives of former IRS official Lois Lerner and six colleagues really are lost forever, as the agency recently told Congress.

Ocean City Police Records ‘Calmer June Than Most’; Serious Crimes Down 5% In 2014
OCEAN CITY — With the calendar flipping over to July this week, a look back at June 2014 revealed the month was decidedly quieter than its counterpart last year, with far fewer high-profile, violent crimes.
While the Ocean City Police Department’s crime statistics for June 2014 have not been finalized, anecdotally, the month was relatively quiet compared to June 2013, which saw a double shooting, multiple stabbings and other serious crimes including several armed robberies. Last month saw its fair share of serious crimes including a couple of first-degree assault cases and a violent attack on an Ocean City municipal bus driver, for example.
There were the usual crimes associated with the arrival of recent high school graduates for their annual Senior Week festivities. An unsanctioned “College Beach Takeover” event earlier in the month, which created major crime problems in Virginia Beach a year earlier, was also relatively quiet, thanks in large part to an aggressive enforcement campaign carried out by the OCPD and allied law enforcement agencies.

Everyday, as I travel through and around this great state, I meet passionate and dedicated Marylanders and I hear: “You have my vote! Do you think we can win?”
We absolutely CAN WIN and WE MUST!
Help us win by donating now!
Help us win by donating now!
Maryland is being destroyed and the future of all Marylanders is at risk! We're facing:
- State spending that has increased by nearly $10 billion
- 40 consecutive taxes imposed on Marylanders by the O’Malley-Brown administration
- 75% higher unemployment under the O'Malley-Brown administration
- A loss of over 6,500 small businesses
- A mass exodus of good Maryland citizens - over 31,000 Maryland taxpayers have fled our state since 2007
TOGETHER, WE CAN
TURN MARYLAND AROUND!
TURN MARYLAND AROUND!
As Governor, I pledge to:
- Create an environment of fiscal restraint
- Insist on state lawmakers to take responsibility and stewardship in our state government
- Grow the private sector
- Grow jobs and decrease unemployment
- Address all of our taxation issues and repeal the rain tax
- Protect our rights as citizens
- TURN OUR ECONOMY AROUND and move Maryland out of the red and into the black
I NEED YOUR SUPPORT?
Together, we will win, we must and we will CHANGE MARYLAND for the better!
Thank you for your support,
Larry Hogan
Meaning of Flag Draped Coffin
All Americans should be given this lesson.
Those who think that America is an arrogant nation should really
reconsider that thought. Our founding fathers used God's word and
teachings to establish our Great Nation and I think it's high time
Americans get re-educated about this Nation's history.
Pass it along and be proud of the country we live in and even more proud of those who serve to protect our 'GOD GIVEN' rights and freedoms.
I hope you take the time to read this ... To understand what the flag draped coffin really means ... Here is how to understand the flag that laid upon it and is surrendered to so many widows and widowers.
Do you know that at military funerals, the 21-gun salute stands for the sum of the numbers in the year 1776?
Have
you ever noticed the honor guard pays meticulous attention to
correctly folding the United States of America Flag 13 times? You
probably thought it was to symbolize the original 13 colonies, but we
learn something new every day!Pass it along and be proud of the country we live in and even more proud of those who serve to protect our 'GOD GIVEN' rights and freedoms.

The worst states for melanoma
Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in the world, and melanoma is the most dangerous kind of skin cancer. It affects about 2 percent of people during their lifetime on average, and rates are going up. Unlike basal and squamous cell carcinomas, melanoma of the skin starts deeper within the skin and spreads quickly unless removed.
But really, how seriously do you take skin cancer? The answer to that question might depend on your age, race, and where you live, and all of these factors determine your risk. The older you are and the paler your skin, the higher your chances are of being diagnosed with skin cancer of any type. Even though sun exposure plays a big part, the sunniest places in America are not the places with the highest incidences of melanoma. Indeed, the state-by-state statistics may surprise you.
The states with the highest rates of melanoma
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the highest rates of melanoma are in some of the cloudiest states, like Washington, Oregon, and Vermont. Rates are per 100,000 residents, and it should be noted that data is not available for Arkansas or Minnesota.
1. Delaware—32.6

Independence Day? 79 Percent Of Americans Are Completely Okay With The Current Level Of Tyranny
Who in the world are we trying to kid?
On July 4th, the United States will celebrate Independence Day once again. But who in the world are we trying to kid? Our founders intended to create a society where freedom and liberty would be maximized, but that is not what America looks like today. Instead, we live in a country that literally hasmillions of laws, rules and regulations. We have a government that is obsessed with spying on the entire planet and that tries to watch, monitor, track and record as much information about all of us as it possibly can. A “Big Brother” surveillance grid is being constructed all around us, and our militarized police are becoming more brutal with each passing day. Sadly, most Americans don’t seem too alarmed by any of this. In fact, a new Gallup survey has found that 79 percent of Americans are “satisfied” with the level of freedom in this nation. That is a very alarming statistic.
If most people believe that everything is “just fine”, then our leaders are going to feel free to keep doing the same things that they have been doing.
That is why it is so frustrating that so many American “sheeple” appear to be so apathetic about the loss of our freedoms and our liberties.
But it was not all bad news in the Gallup survey. Let’s take a look at the good news first…

Border Patrol Agent: 'Backdoor Amnesty' Directed by DHS
On Wednesday’s “Laura Ingraham Show,” Gabe Pacheco, a Border Patrol agent in Southern California and spokesman of National Border Patrol Council Local 1613, stated that the “backdoor amnesty” on the southern border is being controlled from the top by officials at the Department of Homeland Security.
Pacheco stated that for years, illegal immigrants have been turned over to ICE by the Border Patrol only to be “released into the community,” and also reported “this has been going on for years.” He characterized the release of illegals by ICE as “backdoor amnesty, de-facto amnesty.”

Wall Street Journal: Goldman Sachs owns the Clintons
A revealing and detailed audit of “Clinton Inc.,” which has raised more than $1 Billion from U.S. firms and executives since Bill and Hillary Clinton left the White House in 2001, shows that Wall Street giant Goldman Sachs has been the biggest contributor at nearly $5 million -- and even office space.
The analysis by the Wall Street Journal suggested that the firm, which turned on President Obama in his reelection campaign for targeting financial industries, is likely to be a major donor to Hillary Clinton's likely 2016 campaign, raising issues of crony capitalism and the type of paybacks and favoritism populists looking for a Clinton alternative are worried about.
The Journal teamed with the Center for Responsive Politics to determine the size of the Clinton bank vault based on public documents and disclosure forms
They found that financial industries have been the top donor to the Clintons, either directly to their foundation, offering fat speech fees and through contributions from Wall Street executives.
And of those, Goldman Sachs was king.

Moody's to downgrade Maryland
Moody’s Investors Service downgraded Howard University’s credit rating Thursday for the second time in less than a year, citing a “precipitous deterioration” in the financial condition of the university’s teaching hospital.
The university’s new rating of Baa3, down from Baa1, is the lowest investment-grade rating from Moody’s on a scale that runs from Aaa to C. It means that Moody’s analysts consider revenue bonds issued on behalf of the private university in Northwest Washington to be a moderate credit risk for investors.
Until last September, Moody’s had given Howard’s debt an A3 rating, which indicated a low credit risk.
A major problem, Moody’s said, is an estimated $37 million operating loss for the university-owned hospital in the fiscal year that ended June 30, a result of declining patient admissions and other financial strains. Overall, the university operates on revenue of roughly $840 million a year. Patient service at the hospital in recent years has produced about 30 percent of annual revenue.

Dem Congressman: We Must Detain and Immediately Deport Them
HOUSTON, Texas -- As illegal immigrants continue to pour across the border, word is spreading in Central America that migrants with children ("family units") will get to stay in the U.S. Texas Congressman Henry Cuellar (D-Laredo, TX) told Breitbart Texas that most Mexican migrants who cross the border illegally are promptly sent back to their home countries--the same should be done to Central American illegal immigrants, he argued.
"If we don't detain and immediately remove them--like we do with Mexican [illegal immigrants]--then they're going to keep coming," Cuellar said. "If the president wants to do an executive order, this is the right time to do it: treat everyone the same under the [immigration] laws."

Pizza 4 Patriots Sending a Slice of Home to Soldiers Overseas July 4
A program is sending a slice of home to our troops overseas.
Pizza 4 Patriots founder Master Sgt. Mark Evans spoke to Janice Dean on "Fox and Friends" this morning about the nonprofit, which airdrops pizzas to soldiers overseas for the Fourth of July. Pizza 4 Patriots has been sending the pies to our troops for the last seven years.
Evans said the nonprofit hopes to send 5,000 pizzas to soldiers this year. He also explained the "Adopt a VA" program, which aims to throw pizza parties for at least 50 VA hospitals, with the ultimate goal of a pizza party for every single one.
"It's a huge endeavor and we really need help," Evans said, asking viewers to go to pizza4patriots.com to donate.
"It's just a sheer miracle that we can take care of the troops," he said. "You know, I've had combat veterans contact us and they said, 'Here I am, a high-combat veteran, and I started to cry in front of my men to get pizza out in the desert.'"
Pro-Gun Advocate: Guns for Law-Abiding Citizens Reduce Crime
Georgia's so called "guns everywhere law" went into effect Tuesday, allowing Georgians who legally own guns to take their firearms into churches, schools and bars, and Yih-Chau Chang of Responsible Citizens of California says crime decreases when law-abiding citizens own guns.
"When we're talking about guns and guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens, if you take a look at the FBI's Uniform Crime Reports, they've been published year after year showing a drop in violent crime rate, not just gun crime, but rather violent crime," Chang told Ed Berliner on "MidPoint" on Newsmax TV on Tuesday.

There’s More Evidence Indicating Moderate Drinking Helps The Heart
NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Two large studies published in June, one covering 52 countries around the globe and the other from Scandinavia, link low-to-moderate alcohol consumption to reduced risk of heart attack or a life-threatening flaw in the main artery from the heart.
The protective effects of moderate drinking were not universal across Asia. And it’s not clear whether all types of alcohol offer the same benefits - both papers urge further exploration of that and other questions. But both also find increased risk of harm when drinking goes from moderate to heavy.

Gallup: Obama Admin Corruption Making Americans Feel Less Free
Americans feel less free and are more dissatisfied with the "freedom to chose what they do with their lives" since President Barack Obama took office. Gallup concluded that was largely the case due to Obama's scandals and poor economy.
A Gallup survey found that percentage of Americans who are "satisfied with the freedom to choose what they do with their lives" dropped from 91% in 2006 to 79% in 2013. During that same period, Americans who "dissatisfied with the freedom to choose what they do with their lives more than doubled, from 9% to 21%."
