THIS HAS TO BE THE DUMBEST E-MAIL WE'VE EVER SEEN

Subject: Important Notification from Verizon
Verizon

Dear Valued Verizon Customer,

An outage has been detected impacting the ability to use your Verizon High Speed Internet services. This will limit your ability to use the Internet, including email, streaming music, and other services until the outage is resolved. For more information or to sign up for updates on this outage, please visit verizon.com/outage.

You can manage your communication preferences by updating your profile at verizon.com/myverizon.

Sincerely,

Your Verizon Team

PUBLISHERS NOTES: Since our Internet is down, HOW THE HELL ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GET THIS MESSAGE!

  1. They always do this, then direct you to go online for more information. How are we supposed to go online if the internet is down?

I have a box of old hammers with more intelligence than this.

  2. Also the message was sent more than six hours after the net went down. It had been back on for two hours when we received the email. Let's hire that box of hammers to handle VZW communications about Internet outages.

  3. How about the second dumbest message we all get from Delmarva Power for power outages? We're supposed to go online to see the outage map when the power is out as well!

  4. Let's just face it...Verizon is not the sharpest tool in the shed!

  5. Verizon obviously lacks common sense. They do similar stupid things if you try to report a land line problem.

  6. Delmarva Power expects everyone to be connected via cell phone, I guess. I don't use my phone for the internet, so will have to check my laptop quickly before the battery dies.

  7. Did'nt you people ever learn to send smoke signals?
