  3. I have noticed for many years that law enforcement officers almost NEVER use turn signals. why? you LEO are supposed to be setting the bar high enough to "walk the walk" and yet you continue to show us how noncompliant you really are. I work for Law Enforcement so I know what I am talking about.

  4. It's not required by law to use turn signals while making a lane change in the State of MD and only required when making a turn if it affects traffic.

  7. But if someone could answer this question I would be grateful because it's puzzled me throughout my entire driving career:Why do people always lean in the direction they're turning? Do they feel their car or truck needs assistance in completing the turn,or does it save on gas or what? I've actually asked people "Why do you always lean in the direction you're turning"? They can never give me an intelligent answer.

  8. 9:49. I had to do that back in the day before power steering to help turn the steering wheel... Not sure if I still do it, but it may be habit for some..

  9. Natural physical reflex to the centrifugal force of the car turning.
Why would a population losing all civility, in and out of a car, bother with the courtesy of letting other drivers know their directional intentions?
