Superintendent’s Open Door Session

Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Fredericksen will hold a Superintendent’s Open Door Session from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17 in the Administrative Conference Room of the Board of Education Building, Mt. Hermon Road and Long Avenue, Salisbury.  Open Door Sessions will be held throughout the 2014-2015 school year to provide the opportunity for people to meet one-on-one with the superintendent. People may express concerns, offer comment, or ask questions on any issue involving Wicomico schools. No appointment is needed. Each visitor will have approximately 15 minutes to meet with the superintendent. Follow-up sessions will be held if there are more visitors than there is time on the scheduled night. Open Door Sessions are also scheduled for 4-6 p.m. Jan. 21, Feb. 18, March 18, April 15 and May 20. 410-677-4495

Winter Holidays

Wicomico School System

Schools will dismiss at regular time on Friday, Dec. 19. Schools will be closed for the winter holidays from Monday, Dec. 22-Friday, Jan. 2, reopening on Monday, Jan. 5.

During the winter holiday break, the Central Office and many school offices will be open Dec. 22, 23, 29 and 30 and Jan. 2. For school office hours on these dates, please contact the school or call the Central Office at 410-677-4400.

Deadline to register for Jan. 24 SAT administration. Juniors and seniors should visit the guidance office prior to the close of school on Dec. 19 for information.
