EXCLUSIVE BREAKING NEWS: SIMULATED MILITARY AIR STRIKE TRAINING IN MARDELA

The U.S. Military is conducting a simulated air strike mission in Mardela as we speak. This has been confirmed.

A-10's are flying over the rural area right now and the J.G. Parks property is being used as a fueling depot.

The Town Council was NOT made aware this mission was being conducted.

This is a military training exercise.

  1. Now that would have changed everything if the town council had been notified.

  18. Mardela is under a military training airspace. These events happen all the time to prepare aircrews for when they really need to go overseas and conduct the real mission. The eastern shore is a perfect place to conduct these missions because of its location and rural areas, without alot of cultural lighting. This provides the most realistic scenarios for the real thing. It is unfortunate that it upsets the applecart, but it is a necessity to prepare for a much more dangerous situation.

  21. I am glad that our country trains especially as we live within 30 miles of the shoreline, the same occurs in Myrtle Beach... I don't mind the humming of night time planes... I do object to what has been described I CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT THE RESIDENTS THE SCHOOL CHILDREN FELT was possibly occurring... obviously police must have known ...thank God route 50 drivers didn't wreck because of the deer!
