Ladies & Gentlemen, there is a major Delmarva Power phone scam going on right now as we speak.
Residents and businesses are getting calls stating if they don't receive payment within a very short period of time, Delmarva Power will cut off your power.
IT'S A SCAM!!!! DO NOT FALL FOR IT.
Delmarva Power should be sending out messages to ALL of their customers about this scam. From what I have heard so far, they have not.
ReplyDeleteImagine that, got that call this morning and told them do not call my number any more and hung up on them.
ReplyDeleteTried to get my friends business.
ReplyDeleteThe scam is the monthly electric bill.
ReplyDeleteThis is the THIRD scam that I am aware of. It almost seems like DPL is a part of it because they do NOTHING to warn their customers. Whenever I get a call from anyone saying they are from DPL I tell them I am not going to talk to them because of all the phony scams going on. Sounds like if DPL wants any credibility out there they better take some action. They will NEVER be able to call customers and be believable.
