It’s been a fortunate week for Darren Wilson, considering what might have happened. First, the grand jury in Ferguson declined to pursue charges against him in the death of Michael Brown. Then, he and his new wife announced they are expecting a baby.
There’s still a tough road ahead for Wilson, though, with a federal investigation looming and a potential civil action against him by Brown’s family. He has to worry about (and pay for) his family’s safety and the possibility of financial costs in any legal proceedings.
Since the summer, an anonymous supporter has set up a pair of Facebook pages and sold hats and T-shirts to raise funds for Wilson – and to date has raised more than $500,000.

If she married him in spite of all this she is definitely a keeper.I once saw a successful woman marry a homeless man,so anything is possible.
ReplyDeleteCannot believe that the city of Ferguson is just going to cut him loose w/ no compensation
ReplyDeleteThey are compensating him JKR.They're deferring it until the smoke clears.Regardless of what they say or he says he will eventually get it.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Wilson, for doing your job. Really regret that "doing your job" resulted in such an ignorant result! And with your picture out there on the net can't help. I wish you anonymity, happiness, lottery winnings, pension, and this for your wonderful wife as well.
ReplyDeleteGod's blessings to overcome all that as well!
You all are a bunch of jack asses....until its one of your children or grandchildren itcdiesn't matter the color it matters how it was done
DeleteI read somewhere that he got $500,000 for the ABC/Stephanopoulos interview. Terms being 1 hour, no questions off limits. Negotiations were going on with CNN, NBC and CBS but ABC got it.
ReplyDeleteInterestingly no mention of Fox being in the mix. Now I'm hearing he's going to be on Greta tomorrow night and someone told me that Hannity has hinted he'll be on his show in the very near future.
He will be o.k. there is a loyal brotherhood watching over him. That I can assure you. He will be fine. Great job young man and justice did prevail.
ReplyDeleteAll this page is, is a support site for ONE side. Every comment is down right racist. Sickening. I don't support either side, why? Bc I was neither there or anywhere near when it happened and therefore have no business judging. Judging on these types of circumstances is how innocent people end up guilty and vice versa. Why should I allow myself to get so worked up about something that truly doesn't effect me one bit?! Yes, it's a tragedy, and shouldn't be totally ignored but yall are WAY too into this shit.
