NASCAR's Kurt Busch Facing Assault Probe

Police in Delaware say they are investigating a domestic assault allegation made against NASCAR driver Kurt Busch.

The Dover Police Department said in a statement Friday that the allegations were brought to the department on Wednesday. His ex-girlfriend, Patricia Driscoll, said the allegations involved an incident inside his motorhome at a race.

NASCAR said it was aware of the situation, and gathering information. Busch has not been charged.

  1. Road rage... what happens when you can only turn left and talk in sponsor code. I wonder if he thanked Levis, Castrol, Napa, Bud Light, etc for the ability to beat an inferior species? Nascar = Knuckle draggers.

  2. The race in Dover was at the end of September why is she just now reporting this? Could it be because she's now his ex-girlfriend. Makes one wonder.

  3. Exactly 3:26! It was reported they broke up the week before the Dover race but the alleged assault took place in HIS motorhome at the Dover race. They're broke up. Why is she at/in his motor home? It wasn't brought to the State police until November 5. I smell a possible payday lurker. Hope it works out for Kurt if that is the true story line and something is just blown out of proportion.

  4. so, it's ok to run a guy into a wall in a 3400 pound missle. and beat the tar out of each other, as long as your allowed by nascar. but don't do it outside.
nascar is now a joke. i watched it for 24 years. last week was my last race. if i wanted to see a fight, i'd watch boxing, which is also barbaric.
