After nearly six months aboard the International Space Station, Baltimore County’s own Reid Wiseman is back on Earth.
A veteran cosmonaut, a German vulcanologist and a Navy test pilot-turned-astronaut–Reid Wiseman–came back to Earth following a 165-day stay in orbit.
The Soyuz ferry craft touched down in Kazaskhstan at 10:58 p.m. Sunday.
The crew took off around 7:30 p.m. for their journey back to Earth.
After a medical check and satellite phone calls to friends and family, all three will enjoy a traditional welcome home ceremony in Kazakhstan.
