OK, So Maybe I Was A Bit Hung Over When I Prepared This Press Release

Is Jim Ireton that out of it or full of himself that he really thinks the Salisbury Police Department is working in our Schools? The Wicomico County Public School System is in the County and falls under the jurisdiction of the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office not the Salisbury Police Department.

“The Salisbury Police Department, under the leadership of Chief Duncan, has expanded its efforts in the areas of Community Policing,” said Mayor Ireton. “From working in local schools, to bicycle and foot patrols, to participating in our neighborhood saturation this week, to immersing themselves in neighborhood data when first becoming officers, the Department is willing to know and understand the community. We look forward to highlighting the efforts of the SPD, to hearing suggestions from our citizens, and to working to continue implementing changes that will help us better serve Salisbury.”

  2. Political hogwash. How often do you see police walking the beat or riding bikes in the neighborhoods?

  3. I got a suggestion, arrest the drug dealer that you admittedly know about that lives behind me. I am tired of witnessing him beating up his dogs on a daily basis.

    Is it really Democrats?

Or is it certain people who are not qualified to be in public office and are too compromised to make good rational decisions about the best interests of the community?

Are there really no Democrats who can do the job?

Let's focus on the bad people regardless of the political party.
