Officials say suspect in killings of California deputies was deported twice

The suspect alleged to have shot three northern California sheriff's deputies Friday, killing two, was deported twice and has a criminal record, federal officials said late Saturday.

A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman said that the fingerprints of the suspected shooter match those of a man named Luis Enrique Monroy-Bracamonte. Monroy-Bracamonte was initially deported to Mexico in 1997 after being convicted of drug possession in Arizona. Four years later, he was arrested and deported again for an unspecified offense.

"The fingerprints were the basis for our request for an immigration detainer," ICE spokeswoman Virginia Kice told The Associated Press. The detainer requests that local authorities transfer him to federal custody after his case is adjudicated so ICE can purse his deportation, Kice said.

  1. Sorry for this folks. Our Law Enforcement are just too busy chasing down Sex Offenders who in some cases pissed in some alley and or had sex with their girlfriend who happened to be years younger and or got caught in some police rigged on-line porn talk . So till they clean up the registry and take off hundreds who really do not pose a threat and deal with the real bad ones and lock them up . They will be too busy dealing with this sex offender registry mess and no time to deal with those who will in the end KILL you and your family.

  3. It's the democrats and their open door policy. Democrats are evil people. It's okay to them if some Americans die so long as they don't offend the immigrant voter base.
It's okay though. When all the democrats leave this earth a special place is awaiting them in hell because they are doing the devil's work on earth.

  5. Yeah, keep that border down there open. This is what we get coming over the border. The kids are probably just a screen/decoy for the "others." Like this guy who had already been deported twice. What will happen to him now?

The border patrol agent who was shot and killed in front of his family several months ago was also killed by "others." Other people who had been deported on more than one occasion and had just casually strolled back over when they felt like it. The last I heard about them, they were asking for the Mexican Embassy and they wanted translators and yada, yada, yada. Did they get them? I don't know as that story dropped right off the news outlets and I haven't seen any type of updates.

We probably just sent them home again and they are probably back here walking the streets.
