Now You See It, Now You Don't! Royal Farms Turns Against Senator Jim Mathias
Local representatives from Royal Farms have been following Salisbury News, (since no one else covers local politics) and made the firm decision, take down Jim Mathias campaign signs.
Just more evidence, Mathias and Conway only retain credibility at the Willards Lions Club where they have delivered huge tax dollars for non profits who do NOT pay taxes.
As I said, the lights are all turning out for the Mathias/Conway Duo and YOU should do the very same.
Clearly enough customers told Royal Farms, you keep supporting this guy and we'll take our business elsewhere. Enough Said!
we at PAC 14, the place where you are getting your anderton and mcdermott videos, take umbrage to the remark that only sbynews covers local politics. PAC 14 is your source for video...
ReplyDeletethanks
tom taylor
Hey tom i will respect you and pac 14 if you ask real questions to rick pollitt ,Re,How do feel about out of control BOE SPENDING. CREDIT CARDS,and throwing WSPO under the bus.?
DeleteTypical Douchebag Democrats!!
ReplyDeleteI refuse to do business with anyone who has a Conway or Mathias sign. We have been struggling for years to keep our business open. Our only hope is new representation.
ReplyDeleteIs the one gone in West OC? I know numerous people who complained and some were told that the sign was on state highway property. I don't know who said it was state property or even if it was someone affiliated with RF's. I'm not blaming the Mathias campaign on this, because if they were told they could put a sign on Royal Farms property they may have thought the corner was their property. It may just be and this was the excuse people were getting when they asked why a Mathias sign on Royal Farms store, as if RF's was trying to disassociate.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised he has the nerve to run based on his voting record and his representation of the people he was supposed to service in his district. I'm counting the days until the election, and hope and pray that he, and Brown don't get elected to office!
ReplyDeleteTom, I do apologize and ask for your forgiveness?
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely 100% correct and provide an INCREDIBLE outlet to EDUCATE/INFORM the public.
I will add, you have also been extremely fair in the interviews you have delivered.
Thanks for calling me out on that.
Maybe, just maybe they didn't ask permission...
ReplyDeleteno problem joe...
ReplyDeletethanks.

Since the local representatives from Royal Farms are following Salisbury News maybe they can do something about the horrible porn magazines that are displayed in their stores. They are really disgusting. I cant believe the owners and their wives would want that crap in their stores.

No Tom Taylor we the tax payers of Wicomico County and the City of Salisbury "take umbrage" to your comment. You are not a news source and Joe isn't getting his video's from you or PAC 14 he is getting them from Youtube. Once on the world wide web they are fair game. You did not give them to Joe and he did not take them from you. You are just an employee of a PUBLIC ACCESS CHANNEL and a very small one at that. YOUR salary is paid in part by the tax payers and you have no business coming off with that smug remark. YOU should apologize to Mr. Albero for your rude comments.
Did you even get permission from your supervisor to comment on this site? You obviously don't have much to do at your job if it gives you time to troll.
"Today the City of Salisbury, Wicomico County and Salisbury University each provide funding or valuable in-kind services which allow PAC 14 Inc., to continue to operate and meet the mission of providing local community oriented television programming."
Thanks,
Tad the Tax Payer
Gas is 2.99 and dropping on Coastal Highway!!! Suck it Salisbury

Tom Taylor has absolutely nothing to do with it, he is just the video guy. The questions are from Phil Tilghman the Democrat and Phil Tilghman only.
I love Tom Taylor's 2 cent word. LMAO. You big Boy Scout you!!
ReplyDeleteit is not my desire to earn your respect, but to be able to bring to the public those that choose to run for public office, in their own words. i expect criticism of the messenger, but the message is clear, www.youtube.com/thePAC14 has 20 videos of local candidates. share and compare. i am grateful to joe for sharing the videos, i was mostly ribbing him a little because that is my nature. i believe all your questions were answered by all the candidates... you may not like their answers, but they are there.
ReplyDeletewe at PAC 14 love your opinions...
thanks

I wish I could see PAC 14 videos but we can't afford Comcast.
ReplyDeletetom t no wonder you lost your election, not once, but 3 times.
ReplyDeleteYou don't deserve our votes.
I heard just today that Jim Mathias was paying some of his young helpers to go door to door for Josh Hastings. Sad, but true.
ReplyDelete3:24' you know nothing about Royal Farms to make that statement. This company at one point was family oriented. Those days are long gone. If the pornos sell they will keep them.
ReplyDeleteRecently this family business kicked all spouses off their medical plans if they worked elsewhere and that place had a plan. This has been a hardship to many of their family's.
I bet you can't name one company this one has donated anything to help the eastern shore.
The reason these signs were removed is because they upset half of their money supply. Wake up people this company is not local and does nothing for you.
Tom
ReplyDeleteYou seem like a first class guy.
Thank you for your comments.
Joe,
Ditto.
Thank you for all of the news you post.
I agree with 7:23 Tom.
ReplyDeleteIt sure is funny how brave people become when they cowardly attempt to defame your character while hiding in anonymity in front of their laptops.
6:26pm thank that POS President you elected for "hope and change" and his great :-( Obamie Care program for what businesses are having to do to stay profitable!
ReplyDeleteMathias campaign never asked permission for the sign in Salisbury on Snow Hill Road and were asked to remove. Company policy is not to have political signs.
ReplyDeleteThe sign in West Ocean City is on State Highway right of way which is not allowed. Contact the local SHA and let them know to have removed.
hey it's not porn at RF it's called "sophisticates".
ReplyDelete5:17
ReplyDeleteHave you stepped up and run for office?
I'm willing to bet you just sit there and complain and wait for someone else to take care of everything.
Just guessing
If I was a convenient store owner I would stay clear of any political signs on my property. I noticed that the Wine Rack/Exxon stations have taken down their Mcdermott signs.
ReplyDeleteWhat I find difficult to understand is how any business would want to post a Mathias sign on their property as much as he has hurt businesses the past 4 years as our senator.
ReplyDeleteI heard the Wine Rack is under new ownership. When long time owner Ed Ellis still owned it, was when the McDermott signs were present.
ReplyDeleteI just rode down Naylor Street by the fire station and Jim Mathias put up 2 of those 8 foot signs on the fence that belongs to the Body Shop there. I noticed he moved Bob Culvers sign in front of Norman Conway's sign so that he can put his own sign up.
ReplyDeleteWTF! They are some greedy, nasty people to move others signs and put two on the fence. They are true dirt bags that will do anything to get elected.
I should have taken a picture of his greedy ass signs, but didn't have time. If someone can take a picture of it and send it to the owner of this sight that would help prove what a selfish, greedy, lying dick Jim Mathias and his crews are. I hope he loses this election by a landslide.

Thanks Anon Tom! LMAO
I am getting sick and tired of the Jim Mathias commercials we are being force fed on TV now. What a lying P.O.S. he is.
ReplyDeleteThat liar claimed to lower our taxes.
That liar claimed to be the one responsible for building the new Bennett Middle School.
That liar claimed to be responsible for fixing the bridge in Pocomoke.
What a lying Turd Burglar Jim Mathias is.

If you knew Tom you wouldn't be saying that.

I wonder if Sobo's on Eastern Shore Drive and Viva Espresso on College Avenue gave Jim Mathias permission to put up his hideous and obnoxious 8 foot signs in front of their stores?
A yard sign is one thing, but those large signs are hideous. I wonder if there are City, County or State codes in place to prevent them. Does anyone know if Neighborhood Services and Code Compliance has anything on the books?
I heard a lot of Republican signs were stolen last night and I hear Josh Hastings and his friends are behind it.
