DMV finds 145 noncitizens registered to vote in N.C.

A review by the Department of Motor Vehicles has found 145 voters who are ineligible in North Carolina because of questions about their immigration status.

The Winston-Salem Journal reported the DMV searched its records for drivers under a federal program known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.

State Elections Board spokesman Josh Lawson says the agency will send letters to those 145 people asking for documentation that they are United States citizens.

There may be more ineligible people on the voter rolls.

  1. These would vote Democrat because of the gimme's!

Soooo, not only do we have a voter ID problem, we have a registration problem.

The other part of the problem is that the alien driver's license would be accepted as voter ID.....another reason we shouldn't give them access to our systems......
