BREAKING NEWS: Hagel orders 'controlled monitoring' of troops returning to US from West Africa

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel orders a mandatory 21-day 'controlled monitoring' -- effectively, a quarantine -- of all US troops returning from battling Ebola in West Africa.

    It seems pointless to quarantine US troops, but still allow regular flights and visitors do as they please when they get here. Closing the barn door after the horses have taken up residence at another ranch!

    And yet we let anybody from an ebola infected country in, and don't quarantine them.

    Heck...we don't even quarantine medical professionals who have been dealing directly with Ebola victims.
