All ambulance calls that require a fire truck. NOT!!
ReplyDeleteAnd you wonder why we need to pay for those 12 free grant money firemen? NOT!! And you wonder why our taxes are so high?
Makes you wonder why we even need all the paid firemen that we need? If a paid firemen doesn't have "Paramedic" attached to their name/title then it is a guarantee that they are not needed.
Hope your house catches fire.
ReplyDelete11:12 I hope your house catches fire and a fat lazy salisbury firefighter responds, because you will be homeless.
ReplyDeleteI'll take a firefighter that shows up over a cry baby POS sitting on a couch growing fatter by the day do nothing.
ReplyDelete3:18, Have you looked at the leadership in the Fire Department lately? They're either obese or suffering from serious health issues. Lead by example, right?

Thank you Joe. You are exactly correct. What the Hell was Jim Ireton thinking. You can also blame the wannabe soldier Jake Day and welfare monger Laura Mitchell.

Obviously written by a lazy paid fireman from Salisbury.
Why in the world did Wicomico 911 dispatch an ambulance and a fire engine to a residence on Barkley Street for a small puncture wound to the hand? They reported it as a stabbing. There needs to be a shake up at the 911 Center.
ReplyDeletePlease do tell who is suffering from health issues? Because nobody is!!!!!!
ReplyDelete545 since your expertise exceeds the trained professionals who actually did make the cal, what would YOU have done?

Ambulance response only Moron. It only takes one Ambulance.
Fire trucks on ambulance calls are not needed and never have been. If any assistance is needed a second EMS unit or an EMS supervisor would be the preferred choice based on their experience, not for or five fireman standing around after driving an unnecessary $500,000 fire truck.

Oh WTF, name names. Richard A. Hoppes, Wannabe Far Cheef. It's a disease called obesity and Know-it-all.
There are only three ambulances staffed in the city. You cannot send a second ambulance for a medical assist. There are simple to many calls in the city to have two ambulances dedicated. Also there many times when you need more than two sets of hands for patient care or removal. When the chief retires, all of you internet chiefs should apply. You all are so qualified, and already know so much!

ReplyDeletemaybe, but there ARE ambulance companies in Salis. that could assist. and if it was only a puncture wound to the hand, why didn't they take themselves to the er if it was needed?
Everyone's lack of 911 response intelligence on these blogs is astounding.
ReplyDeleteA fire response is made from every department in county if the call is for a stabbing. Also PD is dispatched, no one wants to be alone on a potentially violent scene. I also think it's funny how you all make the ASSumption that the personel on the fire truck are only firefighter. Let me inform you on a little fact; every single paid employee for the SFD is both a firefighter as well as a minimum of an EMT. Also since they rotate their personel constantly from the fire trucks to the ambulance, those "farmen" also have hundreds of hours of experience working on an ambulance. Next, 80% of all EMS calls are BLS, guess who's in the back for around half of them? The EMTs are, while the paramedic drives.
Oh someone mentioned ambulance companies! The only ambulance company left in town is Life Star. They are now responsible for all the areas nursing home transferrs and doctors appointments as well as all transferrs coming out of PRMC, AGH, and Mc Cready. They have next to no down time and wouldn't have the available crews to send on medical assists. Not to mention that the bill sent to either/both the insurance companies as well as the patient would be twice as much as what SFD would bill for.
The ignorance show on this blog site is ridiculous.

ReplyDeleteNice come back, what you couldn't actually put a factual rebuttle together. Oh that's right, you can't because nothing I posted was false.
