We will continue with summer time spending next week!
There's no doubt this is abuse.
ReplyDeleteWhat the H*ll is going on here? Will someone explain to me just why these people aren't being indited for this type of abuse?
ReplyDeleteConcerned Taxpayer wants to know.
The ones for fairly modest amounts are not the result of a pizza reward for kids or a staff activity teachers have paid for. Food should not play such a prominent role in the spending of a board of education with a tight budget.
ReplyDelete9:24, Yet the majority of voters keep voting for Pollitt.
ReplyDeleteYou have the chance to vote for Bob Culver who will do everything in his power to stop this abuse.
The same goes with the people on the Board for the BOE. They are politically connected.
Pollitt has absolutely PROVEN he has NO CLUE how to run the County. Nice guy but in this economy you must have someone with a business background to turn things around. Bob Culver is your answer.
TOTAL, INSANE ABUSE!! Fire every one of them.
ReplyDeleteI think the county council asked the board of ed. for information about procurement card expenditures. The response was that it would take a long time to get that data. Incredible amounts spent on an IT department that can't do something so simple. It's called stonewalling. Parents are quite familiar with it.
ReplyDeleteNow in my "golden" years , I was shocked to learn many years ago, one cannot just run in and clean house. There are protocols, there are rules, there are regulations and actually there is no abuse by the standards. Everyone wants change but only a couple will actually go before these Boards, Commissions, etc in person and question why. Getting on a blog or writing a letter in a newspaper does nothing. Face to face is the direct route to change, but only if you can get people to join you. Many times I have read on here "they work for the voters, the taxpayers are their boss". Guess what little darlings, unless you can get these voters and taxpayers in front of the office holders, to tell them how you feel, there will be no change, The majority of voters don't care enough to vote and taxpayers always think the taxes are too high.
ReplyDeleteInvestigative reporters can fill out the Freedom of Information paper to obtain information they seek.
POLLUTT = LACK OF COMMON SENSE.
ReplyDeleteTAX AND SPEND
ABUSE OF BOE FUNDS FOR CHILDREN .
GOOS OLE BOY.
"Back Street Grill $19.65 "
ReplyDeleteThese are the ones that truly are abuse. One single person in for a meal and two beers To wash it down!
No way this is for any business meeting!
And, Red Lobster... that's the place that packs up school lunches to be catered over to the schools for student assemblies, right?
