Married couple convicted of health care fraud

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- The owner of a health care business and his wife have been convicted of health care fraud.

A federal jury convicted W. Wayne Perry and Angela Perry in Norfolk on Tuesday.

According to court records, Wayne Perry was the owner and operator of the Norfolk-based Community Personal Care, which provided home health care services that were reimbursable by Medicaid.

    Undoubtedly pillars of their church and community. One more episode in the drama of stealing from the poor and the government under the guise of entitlement.
