As the world gets warmer, the Baltimore oriole will no longer be found in Maryland. The Mississippi kite will move north, east and pretty much out of its namesake state. And the California gull will mostly be a summer stranger to the Golden State.
Those are among the conclusions in a new National Audubon Society report that looks at the potential effects of global warming on birds by the year 2080.
"This will spell trouble for most birds," said Gary Langham, the society's chief scientist and vice president.
Did someone forget to tell these folks that Global Warming is Not Real. Come on people get a grip, you are being lied to, G/W is a big lie,period. Lets move on to a more realistic world, there are real problems, High gas prices, High Electric bills, intrusive government, Gangs, Racism, and a whole lot of serious things to get worried about. 637 has the real obvious reasonable explanation. More will perish from propellers and solar reflective heat. Global warming, which is not man made, may cause some species to migrate north or south according to their wishes, but it's not ever going to devastate a race of species!
These people have NO FACTS to even go by, but even if their UFO type theories come true, it's not going to be a big deal.
Once, we were in an Ice Age, then, things warmed up.
The only Orioles in Maryland now are the ones at Camden Yards. And why is there a picture of a Turkey Buzzard with this article? Are they going to be in danger of running out of dead stuff to eat?
And many will be evaporated with massive solar panel farms, and sucked into wind turbines.
