Caught On Tape: What Happens When You Try To Exercise Your Constitutional Rights In Illinois

11 comments:

  1. Happens all the time... You are being conditions to show me your papers like nazi's...

But see what happens when you stand up? that is why it is important to stand up and have more stand up with you...

We can take out any govt agency even if they combined... We out number them and they can't put all of you in jail... NOT TO MENTION if we stood up to not work, the govt can't take taxes with no taxes the govt can't operate, because I know you lazy ass people won't work for free so expect the govt to be the same...

We can also, sue the police and we can also, turn their them away from your stores and not offer them service... you can say they have to leave because you feel unsafe with them around with a gun, like they so elegantly say to you not having one...

these cops know they are breaking the law, but they also know no one will go after them, harmful or legal or any other means, and they are right and this is what happens when you don't...

We can make cops lives and their friends and families lives a living hell as they do to us... BUT within the laW... Maybe you should try it and they will be pressured more than the upper management to NOT commit crimes against the people... but again you won't and this will continue until martial law comes...

Then you will truly be sorry, just look at katrina... that is when cops went door to door taking your guns and making you leave your own home...

  4. Soooo, did he take this video to the ACLU and are they filing an unjunction against the police?

If you don't do anything with evidence like this - it might as well not exist.....

  6. 1:30 - the driver asserted his rights! If that's provocation to you - you've already had too much kool-aid!

  8. I believe in my rights 2:10, but a road block is a road block, he jumped on the officer before he even acknowledged him. Stick your kool-aid up your butt! No I am not a cop either!

  9. The cop should have beat the crap out of that guy.
The driver deliberately went through the stop to pick a fight.
What's 'unbelievable' is the attitude of this jerk driver.

The driver does not have right to act like an a-hole.
The driver deliberately created the situation. It would not have occurred if he didn't choose to do what he did. Period.

When it comes to the checkpoint itself, the event must be conducted by uniformed officers in police vehicles. Drivers should be chosen randomly, using a predetermined method (such as every other vehicle, for example). In addition, officers may not arrest a driver for turning around in order to avoid the checkpoint.

If you are stopped in a DWI checkpoint, you are only required to answer questions pertaining to your identity—such as your name and address, for instance. While the officer may ask to see your driver’s license and proof of insurance, you are not obligated to answer any questions regarding your past or future activities. In fact, if the officer does ask such questions, it is best to positively decline to answer them, as anything you say can be used as evidence against you if you are arrested.
