Not that I think she'll win. In fact, once we publish what we have I'm absolutely confident that even the Liberals won't vote for her.

Does Salisbury City Councilwoman Laura Mitchell Plan On Double Dipping?
Well, I've looked at both Charters and there is NO language that says someone can't.
Not that I think she'll win. In fact, once we publish what we have I'm absolutely confident that even the Liberals won't vote for her.
From what I hear, another candidate has an issue with the charter stopping him from serving.

ReplyDeleteHaha... they will vote for ANYTHING. I'd love to do a test. Take a deceased person, and use their name. Make up the most ridiculous platform, citing all liberal views. Watch them win, and then pull the curtain back to expose the fact that they don't research their candidates, and are idiots. Of course, you could probably do this with any party.
Unfortunately in this town I think you may be right 9:12.

ReplyDeleteSo for the Wicomico County Council, the Dems ran the following:
A guy who can't serve (Travers)
A guy who dropped out (Pagano)
An environmental lobbyist who used to work for the most liberal member of the legislature (Hastings)
And Laura Mitchell, who Joe promises has some skeletons in her closet.
Not the strongest group of folks out there.
To add to 9:12's comment I would say a large portion of da 'bury's electorate would vote for a lump of dog excrement if it had a "D" beside it. Anybody that would oppose that lump because of its character would be accused of racism because of the color of the lump.

ReplyDeleteLaura Mitchell definitely has a log of luggage to carry. Her actions are such that she has no qualms about 'hitting' the average taxpayers pockets on a whim. Her philosophy is to take from those who have and give to the have-nots. It is UN-American in my book.
