  1. What a bunch of wimps we have become, it would be laughable if it were not so ridiculous.

  3. ....as you sit in your air conditioned living room. What the hell is wrong with giving folks a place to cool off. Especially the elderly.

  4. 4:53 you actually thought the trolls in salisbury would have compassion?

you'da thought they won the lottery.

  5. I grew up in wicomico county and never had A/C. In fact, my parents still live in the same house and don't have A/C. Not everyone has A/C or wants it. Bunch of whiney yuppy come heres.

  6. 6:58 yup and thank you for proving my point, ya know, the troll comment. Your comment isnt even relevant to the story.
you grew up in the "county" not the "city". factually it is hotter in the city.
Glad I aint no toothless hick that sits around with my feet in a pot of water with my wife beater shirt on.
Some of us actually have to get dressed for work. Pit stains don't really do well in a professional environment.

    Hope your fan don't break.

  8. I be wondering how business people in the 60's and 70's managed be presentable at work when very few people had A/C in their homes. BTW, 9:09 it must suck having to go to work everyday in a professional job…how's that there college degree working out for ya? Working all day to pay DPL for the AC. LOL.

  9. progress is a biotch isn't it. better than rubbing two sticks together to make dinner.
what's a college degree got to do with cooling stations opening up or a DPL bill?

lets see, make money, dress nice, moderate home, cool in the summer, warm in the winter, na doesn't suck at all.

typical come here. came defenseless to the sparring. witless stupid troll.

  11. LOL. You see this witless troll out and about in Salisbury and don't even notice me because I'm not, as you put it, "dressed nice". To you I may be just another hick from the sticks.. Truth be told, just another person that you don't recognize as the multi-millionare from county in a t-shirt and ripped shorts, driving a 15 yr. old car, drinking domestic beer and not having a care in the world. Have fun going to work everyday. The point is that the temperature is no warmer than it has been during hot spells in the summer over the past 3 - 4 decades and there was no need for cooling centers back then. People must have been either tougher or smarter than they are today. Looks like the government is here to save you from yourselves. It's summer time and it's hot - nothing new.
