  1. The NAACP is not giving out food as part of the school supplies distribution in August. They don't believe you have to feed people to get them interested in school matters. Hope they lead the movement to spend money on instruction instead of calories.

  2. I'm sorry, but I truly do not understand why so many tax dollars are spent to feed county employees...since when did that become our responsibility?

  10. I love how I have to pay $45.00 for EACH sport my son plays (not including $8.00 every time his dad and I watch a game) BECAUSE Wicomico County has budget restraints. Oh but I know...It's for the children.

  12. 2:31PM, I guess I would just have to get replaced then because as I see it, it is NEVER wrong, to stand up for what is right, period.

  14. To the readers of this blog, some of you comment and some of you do not. But to all of you, you need to contact your county council members or better yet show up at a council meeting and voice your concern. Many council members may not read this blog some may however unless you respond in public you are just wasting your time like Pollitt and the BOE a wasting you money.

  15. I guess i'm just not up to understanding this whole mess since my kids finished school 20 years ago.Are these people elected or appointed? If elected all of them should be voted out now by a special election,if appointed fired right now today the whole damn bunch.Parents with kids in our public schools should be livid that this is occuring.I wonder if these people know how much they are hated by the taxpayers.

  18. Why does the Board feel they have to have food at every meeting, I just don't get it. You get an hour lunch come back, after you eat.

Your grammar is horrible. If your kids were finished 20 years ago you more than likely never finished.

  20. The appointed board should not be confused with the board employees. The appointed board did not spend this money or eat this food. You can blame that on John Fredericksen and his employees.
