ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- The Maryland Board of Public Works has voted to cut about $77 million from the state budget to address underperforming state revenues.
The board voted 3-0 on Wednesday for the cuts.
The board, which includes Gov. Martin O'Malley, Comptroller Peter Franchot and Treasurer Nancy Kopp, also approved about $7 million in fund transfers to make up for less-than-expected revenue

ReplyDeleteKeep cheering "your guy". He would NEVER raise taxes, fees, fines, surcharges, levies and would never dream up the next thing to tax (the rain? diabolically brilliant...).
ReplyDeleteBecause your previous guy (who promised you the world) has spent every dime you, your children, and THEIR children will ever have, they have no choice - none -- but to continue to strip us of every possible scrap. Think this gas tax is the last one? LOL....
Keep cheering. But take a moment to check "your guy" and his campaign contributors. Don't be shocked by who is bribing him. Be enlightened.
Most will just rationalize it, but maybe, just maybe, one or two will come to their senses.
