A majority of D.C.-area residents do not want to see the Washington Redskins name changed, according to a new poll.
Sixty-five percent of those polled rejected calls for the NFL team to change its name, according to a poll by the Republican-leaning firm Vox Populi, released Wednesday. Thirty percent said the name should be changed. [...]
However, the pollster said that of those polled, 71 percent said the team’s name is not offensive.
I hope they change it! there name "Washington" is really offensive!

11:05 Agreed. Name " Washington" is absolutely offensive and derregatory nowadays. I wish the owner Dan Snyder would move the team few miles to state of Virginia and build the new stadium there. Redskins have practice facility in Ashburn, VA so why not just make a move and change name to VIRGINIA REDSKINS. Tell those crooks in D.C. we taking our business and tax revenue elsewhere. I bet all Virginians would be thrilled.
