Building Resilience in Baltimore Through Immigration

Two years ago, the city of Baltimore, in a bid to reverse population decline, announced a plan to draw 10,000 people to the city. One of the key demographics would be immigrants. Here, we look at why immigration is well-suited to helping a city bounce back from the shock of depopulation.

  1. Who produced and paid for this video? I'll bet it was O'Malley using our taxpayers money. And who is paying for the air-time.

  2. This video is so wrong on so many levels . I don't know where to start. "Immigrants are opportunistic by nature". I could go on but why bother.

  3. I'm all for legal immigration: we have great immigration laws in place, and it's great to see these folks graduate their classes and become American Citizens!

However, without participating in this process, your presence is considered illegal.

    Are there questions?

  4. I really have no problem with this video except one.

I am all for legal immigration under the rules established by present immigration law, which has served this country well for over 230 years.

Anything outside of that, as this video leaves wide open, is an atrocity on our current laws.

And that's all I have to say about that.
