Damn! They were eating good on 12/16/2011
ReplyDeleteLook at the dates. The Green Turtle was obviously a faculty Christmas party.
ReplyDeleteIts for the children.
ReplyDeleteGuess I am missing something here. Why do taxpayers, if this is the case, buy their meals. Please explain Thanks
ReplyDelete9:13 Well, they could have saved a lot of money by having the party at their facility, and having it catered. The obvious question that arises, was alcohol purchased at this "party"? There's no accountability, anywhere, in the public sector. None.
ReplyDeleteWHERE IS THE IS THE I.Gs OFFICE????????????????
ReplyDeleteMr. Richards
ReplyDeleteYou must not live here. If you did you would know that's a dumb question.
The public does not control the staff money. They pay dues and get commission on their drink machine. Why don't you critics go over to the school and look at the accounting system?
ReplyDelete116 Why isn't the information that has been repeatedly asked for been given to the County Council? You will never be able to justify this. It's ridiculous. Every year parents are asked for supplies to be used in the classroom for all of the children. Then in the middle of the school year teachers send home notes for more supplies. So all the alcohol, lunches, dinners, coffee etc could have paid for some of the supplies. It's total BS.
ReplyDelete1:16, what is the county executives excuse?
ReplyDelete4:15, you just broke the idea! Next school year, when the calls go out to parents for "tissues" and other classroom supplies goes out, simply copy, paste, and print out copies of these posts, put them in an envelope, and return to the school as your "donation".
ReplyDeleteP-E-R-F-E-C-T!
Before jumping to conclusions..... one needs to contact the book-keepers. The staff pays a fee of $10 to $15 each year for the social committee. Then all of the proceeds from the vending machines go to the social committee. However, it has to go through the bookkeeper. So, the principal may use the school credit card (because the social committee does not have one), but is reimbursed from the social committee for staff parties.
ReplyDelete8:36 is correct. Some of those charges may be legit. Money is tight at the school level. The bookkeepers are under a lot of scrutiny. I think many of the smaller breakfasts and lunch charges need to be looked at. I never get lunch bought for me.
