JUST IN: Perry Hall Teacher Struck With Bat By Student's Father After Texts Found

A Perry Hall High School student's father struck his daughter's teacher with a baseball bat after the family found "several dozen" text messages between the male instructor and 15-year-old girl, police said.

Police said the incident happened after the teacher showed up at the girl's family's home. Authorities did not identify the 42-year-old male teacher or the father. Neither has been charged with a crime.

The 15-year-old girl's family called police after finding the messages, which police said "described an emotional relationship that seemed inappropriate for a teacher and student."

  5. A 42 year old man texting a 15 yr old girl and showing up to her house at night unannounced?? Yeah, this is one of those instances where a baseball bat is clearly needed. Creepy ass teacher. If the texts were sexual then Dad and his bat deserve 10 minutes alone in a locked room with this guy and whatever happens is good enough for me.

  6. It has been my experience with years of watching the legal system screwing up victims rights... I probably would have done the very same thing. If you fool with my kids.... well.. lets just say..it will not be resolved in court.

  7. The sad part in all of this is the father will probably be the one that gets in trouble.

  8. We should ban all bats. They are clearly a dangerous weapon and are not needed in our society. Along with butter knives, and forks, and tire irons, and ...

  9. Agreed 6:57 its plain to see these deadly weapon's need to be regulated . if only the democrat's would step up and see the dangers that lay before us. Maybe they should push for a new area of government just to combat this issue. We could spend billions on it and even take away a couple of fundamental rights along the way, as long as we hide what we are doing within the bill it will be OK. Hell we could just get king Obama to skip the whole process and just make it law. Woot!

    All hail king Obama!

  11. Good thing this wasn't my daughter. I don't play baseball. I have other tools handy.

  12. So it says that the relationship seemed inappropriate .....does this mean the police will not be able to do anything about it? He should at least lose his job and be forced to stay away from children.

  13. He SHOULD have just yanked his pedophilic butt into the house (I'm SURE he didn't tell anyone where he was going), duct taped his hands, feet, and mouth and had a 3 day party of morality instruction. Put some plastic down first. And don't say anything when the missing teacher reports start circulating.
Of course, that's just me. Other people might handle it differently. And have to face a State's Attorney looking to put THEM in prison for 15-25 for merely hitting him with a bat.
Unless the father was a cop. Then he could say "I was really hurt that he was here for my daughter --- I thought he came here for ME". And I was afraid he would find her more attractive.
    "Afraid" would win again.
