Time for the NAACP to step up. You don't want people to be treated like stereotypes and I don't blame you. But you need to take control of your neighborhoods and come down hard on these kind of people. Quit blaming the police, whitey, and everybody else. The stereotype will never go away as long as you got this nonsense going on.
Yes the city has come to a free zone for crime.... we all know as citizens of all nationalities know that the cops can't be everywhere but some of these locations have been labeled as hot spots.... west rd... pemberton manor and surrounding apartments.... west main... church st area.... most of the south side near Bennett... and Newtown area.... now common sense would say post up the needed enforcement for these locations and watch how crime drops...now drugs will be sold regardless but I surely guarantee that some of these guns crime can be prevented with the PRESENCE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT.....if they would stop targeting every day citizens because they may look suspicious because of their color or someone of a different race looking out of place in hight crime areas and spending over an half of a hour or more with cars pulled over because of suspension and finding absolutely nothing a lot more unfortunate activities would be prevented
Again... who is the management company in charge of this three ring circus? Seven people in one apartment and gun shots. Can there be violations in maryland law against poor property management .
I picked up my child at Pemberton Elementary and the Sheriff's office was out in force. It made me feel safe and my child was glad they were there. Thanks Sheriff's.
9:49 You are part of the problem. How can you feel safe when the Sheriff's office has to be there in the first place. You must be another liberal Obama voter to be that stupid.
9:09 An area from pennsylvanispa that is having similar problems just implemented a plan that prevents property management from renting a unit that was found to have drugs for 6 months and 12 if a gun violation (shooting) occurs. This makes the property manage pr think twice about who they rent to.
I think the person was thanking the Sheriff's Office for being there. Obviously they know we live in a city that is out of control. At least the Sheriff's Office was out there. The two Troppers were busy running traffic and the city had a murder to investigate. This town is over run with thugs, drugs and guns. The States Attorney's Office needs to prosecute freaking cases. Show up at bond revues and quit playing detective w.t.f. Why on earth are they at crimes scenes are they entered on the crime scene log. Does this not make a potenial prosecutor a possible witness as well ?? This city is out of control. All chiefs no indians anymore. How many open murders are out there. Something needs to give. The heads of all the departments need to meet and get crime under control summer is not here yet and we have two murders ina month. Bank robberies. Get back to fighting crime and not eachother for crap sake. I have never seen it this bad.
Because if something would have happened, then the Sheriff's Deputies were there to try and help protect her and her family...and apprehend the suspect. For all the cop haters if you are smarter than they are and can do a better, don't wait for a gold invitation. I believe there are open positions. Feel free to apply at anytime.
I agree 7:56. It's sinful the way the NAACP chooses to ignore the facts surrounding crime. When they do decide to "address" this issue, it always becomes "because the youth doesn't have anything to do" instead of acting like honest people and telling it like it is, which is the breakdown of a real family unit, and parents as good examples.
When you see a States Attorney at crime scenes, it speaks of the little confidence the States Attorney has that the police will collect evidence without jeopardizing the investigation. That is why chief of police Colbourne Dykes was at every major crime scene under his watch 24/7.

But they say to many black people are getting arrested so we need to stop arresting black people. They keep saying to many black kids are getting suspended in school and arrested. They say that we need to cut back on the referrals to the office for the black trouble makers because it's not fair to black kids.

The charges above 1993, would indicate that the suspect is 21 years old, news indicates he is 17. One of the charges 1/1975 would make him 39 years old. Still doesn't excuse him for committing a crime either way. Maybe I'm just confused.

I'm sure his family is glad you shared your little tidbit of wisdom.
Sorry I had 17 on the brain thinking about the rape suspect. Still the list above indicates two different birthdays. So much crime these days I can't keep up, and crime always goes up when it's hot and kids aren't in school.
I guess the bikers life and untimely death were not worthy of any reporters time, except you Joe.
I have heard from people who say the woman pulled out in front of the biker near the diner. ( which happens a lot as well as making left turns in front of bikes)
Joe, you truly are Delmarva's NEWS LEADER. All of the other media around here are just smoke and mirrors. And they probably could not even get that right.
Out of control in this town and the keystone cops are clueless.
ReplyDeleteCould have told you the shooter was black in 3 guesses, and the first 2 don't count!

ReplyDeleteThe birthdate 1993 is clearly the shooting victim. The birthdate of 1975 would appear to be his father. Victim or not, he's got a hefty rap sheet!
