North Korea defends its racist comments about Obama

North Korea's official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) rarely offers worthwhile reading material for Western audiences. The prose is often leaden or hopelessly flowery, and the stories often deal with dull domestic news or the praise showered on Kim Jong Un by obscure foreign sources.

Even so, one recent article featured by KCNA was exceptionally unpleasant. In a May 2 article titled "Divine retribution for the juvenile delinquent Obama!” and published only in Korean, President Obama was referred to as a “clown,” a “dirty fellow," and “a crossbreed with unclear blood.” The bizarre comments were later picked up by U.S. news media and soon spread like wildfire.

This week, North Korea finally offered an explanation for those remarks. And while the explanation may sound limp, it is also more revealing than it first appears.

  2. For once, a political figure was not afraid to say, what many others think, this guy had guts enough to say out loud! Everyone is so afraid of being called a "Racist", but in most peoples true hearts, they are! Simple test, would you want your daughter to marry someone of the African American race? 2nd. two children are drowning, one black one white, who do you save if you can only save one? 3rd. Do you support advancing a minority person, less educated and less qualified ahead of a white person that is perfect for the position?
These are just a little dip into a persons true feelings, we all are a little bit "Racist".

  3. Racism: a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
Bigot: a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance
Media insist on using racist when the proper term is bigot.

Calling President Obama a 'wicked black monkey' is racist. This person is a bigot and a racist combined. Humans think of themselves superior over animals.

  9. #1 Who really cares what is said by anyone in North Korea except by the lucky souls fortunate enough to escape from there.

#2 11:09 AM I know what you mean but you sound like a moron. Your first point should be based on how well the person will treat and provide for my child. Your second point is whoever is closest to shore. Your third point has more to do with liberal ideology. I work in the private sector and only hire the most qualified available.

    All legitimate not bigoted/racist answers.
