Its been 3 hours and the live cam still has the rig sitting on the bridge and traffic closed. Are there no tow trucks in 3 hours? Really? Maybe something I'm not understanding here? PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME.
Gone 2 miles in two hrs and still not thru toll. Bummer. Guess this is what it feels like to be a tourist in summer. Glad to live on the eastern shore...except tonight.
That bridge has been paid for a hundred times over - looks like by now there could have been two or three more bridges built or at least two or three ferry crossings.
so O'Malley's All Stars could not make the call to open a lane on the 3 lane Bridge?
ReplyDeleteAbout 6 weeks ago we went to the western shore and there was one lane open heading East that morning
..when we came home there was a Rush hour bottle neck and no relief with the west bound structure..
I guess the bureaucrat in charge goes home at 3:30 and the rest of the lemmings were not high enough up on the totem pole to make the call..
.typical State of Maryland they can give a hoot about we the people..the fuel wasted in the bottle neck was a disgrace
It is always a crap shoot traveling over that bridge. I hate all of the delays.
