Incident: Possession of CDS
Date of Incident: 4 April 2014
Location: 27000 block of Nanticoke Road, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Robert William Somers, 46, Tyaskin, MD
Narrative: On 4 April 2014 at 9:07 PM, a deputy responded to the parking lot of the Country Side Market on Nanticoke Road for the report of a subject passed out in a vehicle. Upon arrival, the deputy located Robert
Somers of Tyaskin slumped over the steering wheel in the rear of the parking lot. During the ensuing encounter, the deputy located two prescription bottles in Somers possession. One held what was identified as crack cocaine while the second held what was identified as Xanax.
Somers was placed under arrest and transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and
taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Somers in the Detention Center in lieu of $60,000.00 bond.

Incident: Possession of CDS

Location: Moss Hill Lane at Old Ocean City Rd., Salisbury, MD
Suspect: 1. Levar Kinte Campbell, 36, Glen Burnie, MD
2. Shana Letica Ewell, 37, Snow Hill, MD
Narrative: On 5 April 2014 at 5:57 PM a deputy stopped a vehicle operated by Shana Ewell for a traffic violation. During the stop, the deputy observed indicators that implied Ewell and her passenger, Levar Campbell, were involved in illicit activity. A WCSO drug K9 arrived and conducted a scan for the presence of the odor of illegal drugs. Following an alert on that odor, the deputy searched the vehicle and recovered both cocaine and marijuana from the vehicle. Both were of the quantity and packaging consistent with indicating intent to distribute.
The deputy placed both Campbell and Ewell under arrest and transported them to the Central Booking Unit where they were processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After their initial appearances, the Commissioner detained both on bond in the Detention Center. Campbell was detained on a bond of $300,000.00
while Ewell was detained on a bond of $125,000.

Incident: Assault

Location: 8000 block of Hurley’s Neck Road, Mardela Springs, MD
Suspect: Timothy Logan Elliott, 25, Mardela Springs, MD
Narrative: On 5 April 2014 at 8:04 PM a deputy responded to a residence in the 8000 block of Hurley’s Neck Road in Mardela Springs for the report of an altercation. Upon arrival, the deputy met with a female subject
who was receiving treatment from EMS personnel. According to the victim she was involved in an altercation with her boyfriend, Timothy Elliott that turned physical. According to the victim Elliott punched her in the face multiple
times and threw her to the floor. During the investigation, the deputy observed signs of injury that corroborated the victim’s account.
Elliott is also accused of breaking the victim’s cell phone and refusing to allow her to leave the residence.
The deputy placed Elliott under arrest and transported him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Elliott in the Detention Center in lieu of $35,000.00 bond.

Location: 1100 block of Nokomis Avenue, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Kasiah L. Harris, 23, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 5 April 2014 at 9:39 PM a deputy responded to a residence in the 1100 block of Nokomis Avenue for the purpose of locating a wanted subject, Angelique Harris, who was supposed to be there. The deputy was
greeted by Kasiah Harris at the front door who repeatedly told the deputy that Angelique was not present. The deputy would subsequently locate Angelique hiding inside the bathroom at which point she was arrested.
The deputy arrested Kasiah Harris for trying to deceive the deputy and keep Angelique from being arrested. Kasiah Harris was transported to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, she was detained in the Detention Center in lieu of
$7,500.00 bond.

Date of Incident: 6 April 2014
Location: Jersey Road at Morris Street, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Whitney Blake Epps, 28, Hyattsville, MD
Narrative: On 6 April 2014 at 6:58 PM a deputy stopped a vehicle that would be found to be operated by Whitney Epps after the deputy observed that not only was Epps not wearing a seat belt, but that a two year
old child was observed climbing up on the rear seat. Upon stopping the vehicle, Epps initially provided an identity that would ultimately be proven false. Upon learning her true identity, the deputy discovered that Epps’ driver’s license had been suspended.
The deputy placed Epps under arrest for providing the false identity and transported her to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner released Epps on Personal Recognizance.
