Don't they use security bags? You know, each and every bag has a different serial # and is signed by manager on duty who verifies the amount when it is sealed. Once the bags have been sealed they can't be reopened without totally destroying the bag. It's hard to believe in this day and age they still handle money on the "honesty" basis, the person at the bank opens the bag and counts it right in front of you to verify and give you a deposit receipt. Bush league, Bush league, bunch 'o good ole boys, that's how they roll! Those security bags will save any more deposits coming up empty and put an end to that crap! Poor business practice by whoever is running the finance department these days.
Mistakes happen all the time. I was making a deposit from my car with change to come back to me. I'm glad I counted it before I went far b/c they gave me $300.00 more than they should have given. Returned it.

ReplyDeleteThere have been a lot of major problems in this city under the Watch of Jim Ireton. Why did you idiots vote for him.
ReplyDeleteJim Ireton is proof that Homo's and Democrats are not good candidates to run for any office.
Not really an unusual occurance.
ReplyDelete4:09pm Agree.
ReplyDeleteDon't the Spd officers transport the bank bags from city finance to the bank?
