Over 40,000 People Are Registered to Vote in Both Virginia and Maryland

As midterm elections quickly approach, many are starting to think about voting and potential fraud at the polls. And once again, we find that there is cause to be worried about voter fraud here in the U.S. It appears in a new report that 44,000 people are registered to vote in both Virginia and Maryland.

A vote-integrity group crosschecked the voter rolls in the two states and found far too many people registered in both states. The group, known as The Virginia Voters Alliance, is going to expand their research into surrounding states like Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, North Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia and Georgia.

The group found that the number of voters who actually cast ballots in both states was only 164 in 2012, but that is still far too many. And the problem of potentially having thousands of people casting multiple ballots is the real issue.

  1. I'll bet most of them were Democrats.

  2. My daughter is registered in Maryland and Michigan. They never purge the voters rolls here to see if anyone moves away or dies. My father is still registered and he's been dead for three years. All I have to do is request absentee ballots in their names and I get to vote three times. Very sad.

  3. Isn't this these peoples' full time jobs year around? Or do they just decide to actually work 5 months before the election, then take the other 19 months playing solitaire on their computers????

  4. This is the core of our country's future, and they can't find the tome to look at facts until it's just plain too f-ing late to correct it, and another bogus election goes on.

I've lived in 5 states in my life, and will be requesting absentee ballots from the other four this year.

    Time to fight back.

  5. 5:48 it is people like you that had a chance to level the field against Obama, that didn't, and a good man, Romney, lost, shame on you!

  6. so 859, it is you who are advocating for voter fraud? Seems to me every story I see states that despite the registration problem, actual voters committing fraud is quite low. Completely debunks the "Romney lost because of illegal votes" theory. Yet you still push for folks to break the rules so your guy wins. Quite telling.

  8. Oh I'm sorry 747, commit voter fraud because you imagine your guy is losing because of voter fraud, even though you can't really seem to provide evidence for such. Pardon me.
